Alpha Softwares runs StudentWala (https://school.studentwala.in) and https://studentwala.in. This policy explains how we handle personal data for website visitors, school users, and people whose details schools store in the app (students, parents, staff). See also our Terms and Conditions.

Schools usually decide why student data is collected; we process that data on their instructions. For account, sales, and support details we collect directly, Alpha Softwares is responsible under applicable Indian privacy law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

• From you: name, email, phone, school details, support messages, and billing info for paid add-ons.
• School data: student and staff records, attendance, fees, exams, photos, and messages your school chooses to store or send.
• Automatic: IP address, browser/device info, usage logs, and security events.
• Integrations: delivery status from WhatsApp/SMS or payment references when you enable those features.

We use data to provide and secure the Services, support schools, bill paid features, improve the product, and comply with law. We do not sell personal data. We may share data with hosting and support providers, integration partners you turn on, and authorities when legally required.

We keep data while your account is active and for a reasonable time after closure for backup and legal needs. Invoices may be kept longer for tax rules. We use access controls, HTTPS, and other measures appropriate for a school ERP; no system is 100% secure.

The website may use essential and analytics cookies. The app uses session storage to keep you signed in. You can control cookies in your browser. We may send product updates by email or WhatsApp where allowed; you can opt out of marketing messages.

You may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We do not market directly to children. Schools must obtain required parent or guardian consent for student data and use the platform responsibly.
